November 16, 2015, 12:00 p.m. — The high school football playoffs got off to a dramatic start in the Washington, D.C. metro region over the weekend. Week 12 saw a slew of fantastic plays, including great defensive stands, lengthy touchdown runs and game-winners.
Here are the Top 10 plays from the weekend:
No. 10: DeMatha senior receiver Kellon Taylor catches the long touchdown pass.
No. 9: Northwest junior receiver Reggie Anderson completes the lengthy touchdown reception.
No. 8: Woodgrove senior running back Charlie Clewis rushes for the long touchdown.
No. 7: West Potomac sophomore running back Daiimon Cleveland goes for the lengthy touchdown run.
No. 6: Robinson senior kicker Nathan Musso knocks through the game-winning field goal.
No. 5: Broad Run senior receiver Chris Moore makes the difficult catch between two defenders.
No. 4: Magruder senior receiver Peter Nankhuni makes the tough, one-handed grab.
No. 3: North Point senior receiver Kianta Thompson with the lengthy touchdown reception.
No. 2: South County junior Nate Avery tips the interception to Veronta Jones before falling out of bounds.
No. 1: Good Counsel senior Devin Judd returns the interception the length of the field for the score.
