September 7, 2015, 12:00 p.m. — High school football is well underway in the Washington, D.C. metro region. Week 2 saw a slew of fantastic plays, including highlight reel catches, lengthy touchdown runs and game winners.

Here are the Top 10 plays from the weekend:

No. 10: Patuxent senior wide receiver Greg Leonard with two impressive touchdown catches from quarterback Jaelen Gross.

No. 9: Meade senior defensive end Josh Pridgen with the tipped pass and pick six.

No. 8: North Point sophomore quarterback Jemichael Jones keeps it and goes the length of the field for the touchdown.

No. 7: Watkins Mill quarterback Markel Grant finds Devonte Bruff in the endzone who bobbles and hangs on for the score.

No. 6: Mount Vernon senior wide receiver Joshua McGrigg winds through two defenders for the long touchdown reception.

No. 5: Old Mill senior wide receiver Camari Wilkerson with two highlight reel touchdown receptions from quarterback David Marrocco.

No. 4: Dominion junior running back Vashon McCants takes the handoff and goes the rest of the way for the long score.

No. 3: Good Counsel senior wide receiver Jonathan Wanat with the over-the-shoulder touchdown grab.

No. 2: South River running back Brooks Watson puts his team ahead with the late score.

No. 1: West Springfield quarterback Peter Muskett runs for the lengthy go-ahead touchdown late in the game.
