October 19, 2015, 1:00 p.m. — High school football is well underway in the Washington, D.C. metro region. Week 8 saw a slew of fantastic plays, including lengthy touchdown runs, great defensive stands and game-winning scores.

Here are the Top 10 plays from the weekend:

No. 10: Stone Bridge senior running back Chase Ridley works the open field on the long touchdown run.

No. 9: North Point senior receiver Devonte Young catches the short pass and goes the length of the field for the score.

No. 8: McLean senior receiver Patrick Dolan makes the one-handed grab in the end zone.

No. 7: Howard senior running back Malik Anderson breaks tackles en route to the lengthy touchdown.

No. 6: Good Counsel senior Keandre Jones blocks the punt and sophomore Tremayne Stott returns it for the go-ahead score.

No. 5: St. John’s junior Darryl McDaniel recovers the muffed snap in end zone for the go-ahead score.

No. 4: Hayfield senior running back Myles Ross breaks free from a pile and scores on the long run.

No. 3: DeMatha senior running back Lorenzo Harrison runs all over the field for the lengthy touchdown.

No. 2: Broadneck senior Ali’i Niumatalolo makes the interception to force overtime and again for the win in overtime.

No. 1: Gonzaga junior receiver Max Fisher makes the highlight catch between two defenders from the hands of junior quarterback Sam Brown.
