March 14, 2016, 12:00 p.m. — The high school basketball season has wrapped up in the Washington, D.C. region. With state championships wrapping up, we had a shorter episode with just five plays.
Here are the Top 5 plays from the week:
No. 5: Seneca Valley’s Quentin Twyman finds a cutting Brandon Simpson for the alley oop against Stephen Decatur.
No. 4: Potomac’s (Va.) Nana Opoku comes from behind to block the shot against the backboard against L.C. Bird.
No. 3: Eleanor Roosevelt’s Jaden Faulkner finds Victor Okafor with the perfect lob pass for the alley oop.
No. 2: Riverdale Baptist’s Jamal Wright finds Cyril Ogbuagu for the alley oop.
No. 1: National Christian’s Christian Matthews adjusts in mid-air to block the shot against Our Savior New American.
