October 3rd, 2016, 12:00 p.m. — High school football continues for all teams in the Washington, D.C. metro region. Week 4 saw many fantastic plays, including lengthy touchdown runs, great passes and game-winners.
Here are the Top 10 plays from the weekend:
No. 10: Patriot’s Patrick Bentley breaks a 70-yard touchdown run vs Brooke Point.
No. 9: Madison’s Nick Conforti catches a swing pass and takes it 80 yards for a touchdown.
No. 8: Northwest’s Juwon Farri breaks several tackles on his way to a 35-yard touchdown.
No. 7: Blair’s Kasim Brown strips the ball and takes it back 77 yards for a touchdown.
No. 6: South Lakes’ Chris Logan blocks a punt and it is recovered by Sky Lubreski who takes it back for a touchdown.
No. 5: Freedom’s Cortez Jackson recovers a fumble and takes it back for a 97-yard touchdown against Hylton.
No. 4: Watkins Mill’s Markel Grant scrambles, breaks a couple of tackles, and finds Anthony Rush for a 46-yard touchdown.
No. 3: Falls Church’s Dakwandre Marshall fields a punt, breaks two tackles, and takes it 97 yards for a Jaguars touchdown.
No. 2: DeMatha’s Myles Canton secures a game-winning interception in the Stags 14-13 win over St. Johns.
No. 1: With less than a minute left, Centreville’s Julian Garrett takes a handoff and fumbles but Deonte Edmonds recovers and takes it in for a touchdown. Garrett then scored the game-winning two-point conversion, giving the Wildcats a thrilling 8-7 victory over Lake Braddock.
