August 16, 2018 — We are pleased to announce that DMVSTREAM.COM will once again be teaming up with The Washington Post and All Met Sports to bring high school football fans in the DMV area another season of “Top Plays,” a weekly top-10 style high school football show, for a seventh straight year.
Every week, host B.J. Koubaroulis will bring fans the best high school football plays that the DMV has to offer, including explosive runs, acrobatic catches, pinpoint touchdown passes, big hits and so much more in a studio style presentation that encourages viewers to submit content from games across the area.
You can catch the show every Monday at AllMetSports.com.
“Heading into our sixth season, we are continuously encouraged by the participation of players, parents, coaches and fans,” said B.J. Koubaroulis. “We are committed to continuing to bring this style of show to our fans who have continued to embrace it.”
The show combines video captured by DMVSTREAM.COM sports videographers, employed by DMVSTREAM.COM’s parent company — Synthesis Multimedia — as well as video captured and submitted by parents, coaches, fans and players across the area.
At the end of the season, every No. 1 play will be compiled into a list that is made available for fan voting at WashingtonPost.com. The winner of that poll will be selected as the “Top Play” of the 2017 high school football season.
As a longtime fan of “Top Plays,” newly appointed DMVSTREAM.COM Content Manager, Yousef Nasser, expressed his enthusiasm in response to the news that “Top Plays” would continue for the seventh season.
“The DC metropolitan area is a hotbed for high school football so it is exciting to see local student-athletes continue to receive recognition for their on-field excellence. AllMetSports.com does a terrific job with their coverage of DMV high school sports and I am thrilled to work with them and play a role in continuing the legacy of “Top Plays” for high school football fans in the area.
Fans can nominate plays for the “Top Plays” video program by using the nomination form below. The nomination form can be found at our homepage DMVSTREAM.COM under the tab “CONTACT US.”
Fans can also submit top plays by tweeting B.J. Koubaroulis (@bjkoub) their video nomination and using the hashtag: #allmets.
Nominations must be submitted by Sundays at noon.
