October 29, 2015, 8:15 p.m. — I taped an interview with legendary Virginia high school football coach Tom Verbanic (Fairfax, Westfield and currently Flint Hill) for Friday’s The Final Drive, but it went a bit long, so we’ll probably have to edit it down. So, I wanted to post the complete interview with Coach Verbanic here. We touched on a host of topics including the differences between coaching a public school power vs a small private school, passing 200 wins for his career, his standout freshman running back Jordan Houston, and the Huskies key MAC matchup with Maret this weekend.
