August 26, 2015, 4:56 p.m. — According to Mark Giannotto of the Washington Post, Bullis and Episcopal are the two teams to focus on in the IAC. Bullis will be going for a third consecutive IAC title and is loaded with talent. The squad will be led by senior quarterback and Maryland commit, Dwayne Haskins Jr., widely considered the top QB prospect in the metro region. Fellow Big Ten prospects for the Bulldogs are Wisconsin commit Patrick Johnson II, defensive back, and Penn State commit Cameron Brown, linebacker/defensive end. The Bulldogs are not only the favorite to win another championship, but may have the best team in school history. The main challenger will be Episcopal, a team that was second-best in the conference last season and has many Division I recruits of their own, most notably defensive back Patrice Rene, committed to Rutgers.
In the MAC, Sidwell Friends is expected to be unchallenged yet again, coming off a season in which they went undefeated in conference play and will be returning many key weapons. Most notably, the Quakers will be led by senior quarterback Ted Hefter and junior wide receiver Dylan Greynolds. Potential threats in the MAC are Flint Hill and The Potomac School, with new coach Blake Haney, a former all-ACC OL at Wake Forest.
