January 2nd, 2016, 12:00 p.m. –High school basketball is just getting started here in the Washington, D.C. region. Week 4 saw a slew of fantastic plays, including great passes, big dunks and game-winners.

Here are the Top plays from the weekend:

No. 8: Champe guard Dom Fragala continues his blistering start to the season, scoring 30 points, including going 14-15 from the free-throw line in the Knight’s 63-58 win over Langley.

No. 7: Bladensburg works the ball inside to Daniel Oladapo who shakes free from a defender and flushes home the one-handed jam! The Mustangs went on to beat the Richard Montgomery 67-62.

No. 6: Glenelg Country’s Jalen Gabbidon gets the steal and starts the one man fast break on the way to a two handed dunk with authority in the third quarter. Glenelg Country defeated Wakefield 52-47 to win the Holiday Hoops Championship!

No. 5Champe’s Dom Fragala is at it again, putting up 33 points along with 7 assists against the Bruins.  This time his efforts wouldn’t be enough as the Knights fell to Lake Braddock 100-88.

No. 4West Potomac’s DaJon Bellfield steals the ball and then dunks it even after a hard foul for a ferocious finish! Despite the play, the Wolverines lost to the Patriots 77-68.

No. 3St. Andrews guard and Louisiana Tech commit Anthony Duruji gets the pass in transition and elevates over a 6’10 defender for the monster slam! The Lions went on to take down the Wildebeests 84-51.

No. 2DuVal’s Kenyon Stone gets a fullcourt pass and throws down a thunderous slam over the defender’s head for the and-1.  The Tigers went on to get a road victory over the Owls 67-47.

No. 1: With time winding down, Oakton’s Braeden Johnson gets to the elbow, pulls up and rattles in his first ever game-winner at the buzzer, giving the Cougars a 43-41 victory over Knoch!
