December 12th, 2016, 12:00 p.m. –High school basketball is just getting started here in the Washington, D.C. region. Week 1 saw a slew of fantastic plays, including great passes, big dunks and game-winners.

Here are the Top 10 plays from the weekend:

No. 10: St. Charles forward Sean Patterson elevates for a fast-break dunk as the Spartans beat the Cavaliers on the road 73-59

No. 9: Champe’s Dom Fragala nails a three pointer while falling with a defender in his face. Fragala finished with 24 points as the Knights took down the Falcons 85-52.

No. 8: Loudoun Valley senior guard Nick Ball finds Jordan Miller on a backdoor cut for an alley-oop in the Vikings 89-41 win over the Wolverines.

No. 7: South Lakes guard Cam Savage finds Damon Johnson who hits a three from the corner that gave the Seahawks a late 4th quarter lead in their 79-67 win over the Hornets.

No. 6: IDEA guard William Leach throws it up and Anthony Coleman throws it down for an alley-oop slam in the Timberwolves 74-52 win over the Eagles.

No. 5: Robinson Senior Guard Tyler Jones knocks down the go-ahead three pointer to take down Lake Braddock 63-59 and give the Rams their first win of the season.

No. 4: Douglass senior forward Zion Cousins was able to find senior forward Demarius Pitts cutting to the basket for a statement dunk in the 4th quarter that would help solidify the Eagles’ 51-45 win.

No. 3Battlefield forward Julian Washington takes it the length of the court and skies over a defender for the one-handed jam!

No. 2 Loudoun Valley guard Dominic Peterson throws an alley-oop off the backboard that Jordan Miller slams down with authority!

No. 1: Forest Park’s Austin Judy rebounds a missed shot and sticks in the putback right as the buzzer sounds, giving the Bruins a 59-57 win over the Bulldogs!
