March 7, 2016, 12:00 p.m. — High school basketball is well underway in the Washington, D.C. region. With plenty of action this week, we had plenty of plays to choose from for our Top 10.

Here are the Top 10 plays from the week:

No. 10: Potomac’s (Va.) Jamal Washington banks in the half court shot before the first quarter buzzer.

No. 9: O’Connell’s Randall Gaskins pulls off the nifty reverse layup.

No. 8: DeMatha’s Markelle Fultz skys high for the one-handed dunk.

No. 7: Clarksburg’s Andrew Kostecka hits the three-pointer to force overtime against Whitman.

No. 6: Whitman’s Max Oppenheim banks in the putback to beat Bethesda-Chevy Chase.

No. 5: Good Counsel’s Cam Norman hits the game-winning jumper against Cliton Christian.

No. 4: George Mason’s Douglas Bossart banks in the game-winning layup with two seconds to beat Graham, 74-72.

No. 3: Magruder’s Byran Boehlert hits the game-winning three before the buzzer to beat Blake 49-46.

No. 2: H.D. Woodson’s Derquan Washington hits the deep three-pointer to send the game against Gonzaga to overtime.

No. 1: Oxon Hill’s Quincy McBeth comes up with the steal and dishes to Shawn Moss who drains the game-winning jumper to beat Great Mills 71-69.
